Lingo chosen "Editors' Pick" by Wired for Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

Lingo beat all others in cost on U.S. and international calls, and was recognized for its high quality of service, easy-to-use online account manager and quick tech support.

McLean, VA – October 30, 2007 – When Wired magazine tested and compared eight VoIP services for their Winter 2008 Test issue, Lingo (www.lingo.com), a subsidiary of Primus Telecommunications Group, Incorporated, emerged as "Editors' Pick" for its cost, features and quality. Lingo was tested and compared with Packet8, AT&T, Comcast, SIPphone, Skype, Verizon, and Vonage – and beat them all.

"We are delighted to be chosen as 'Editors' Pick' among VoIP service providers by a respected magazine such as Wired," said Srinath Narayan, Vice President of Consumer Markets for Lingo. "Their selection of Lingo validates what we always knew we offered – a product with a wide range of features, high quality, and a very attractive price."

Highest quality at the lowest cost
Lingo provides customers with superb sound quality at the most affordable prices. The popular "Chatter Box" plan provides unlimited calling within the U.S. and to 22 other countries. Users can manage their accounts through what Wired editors describe as a "tidy online account manager." A unique offering from Lingo is its optional mobile service called "Unwired" which the Wired editors confirm "lets you save big bucks when making international calls on your cell phone."
